as i chat with those like me
i find this

there are a lot of different opinions on love

for some, a maze
for another, enjoyable way to comprehend a bond
for another, madness
for another, lovers are a dime a dozen

if you fear results,
take but one or two lovers
study what you selected.

some of you must think i’m horrible, wrong, awful
but  am i right?

it is dangerous
it has very little mass appeal
madness will follow slowly
exactly how is this supposed to work?

it grew into a wilderness
into something even bigger.

i found

you should not use love to be worth less than what it is
it’s the calm before the storm
it’s pretty unbelievable

so where do you begin with love?

  1. Very interesting poem..

Does the inspiration come from yourself or from what you observe? For some reason, your poem reminded me a bit of Twilight New Moon I just saw over the weekend.

  2. I agree with Koi. The poem has a certain ethereal feel to it, as if you’re slipping in and out of different realities or situations, much like Twilight. Pretty cool stuff in my book.

  3. Jeffrey says:

Yes, I’ll have to agree too. It’s a lot like the theme of New Moon, except not as painfully long.

    Hi folks

I actually wrote this poem a while ago, long before I saw either of the Twilight movies. I haven’t read the books though.

So far as vampires go, I like Ian Somerhalder’s Damon Salvatore from Vampire Diaries. I can’t help it, I like the mix of dark humor and danger.

Love always starts at the beginning. At first it;s a seedling waiting to bloom, but will not bloom unless it is nurtured.
Great care is require otherwise it withers and dies.
