where are we are going?
what are we going to do?
is this a search?
have we found it?

i enjoy the spirit of love,
but have qualms regarding this.
will he ever get this right?
will I?

a kiss will do your karma good
i think.
but…
how do I come up with something like a bond?

this was a critical decision.
thus, I’m at the mercy of those mentioned herein.
is there is another alternative?
i should like to take a less confused approach

it may not be best to act like a lady
but to give them what they need.
that was a knee jerk reaction.
why not just escape this maze?

so, you want a wilderness?
well, like they say, “half a loaf is better than none.”
but is a half a love better than none?
i leave it to chance

depressed I may be
but the best thoughts will bring
this matter to go with glee.
that’s a hallmark of a good love.

lesser love

i hear of a great magnificent love
that a friend has found
how can i have joy
over her fortunate circumstance?

i remember, i imagine
i know what such a love
can create.

i am envious

but i must learn to enjoy my lesser loves
it is this that i must experience fully

in my life, the lesser loves
become the more real,
more of who i am.
thus i have love and
i am not deprived
but rich with love.

as i chat with those like me
i find this

there are a lot of different opinions on love

for some, a maze
for another, enjoyable way to comprehend a bond
for another, madness
for another, lovers are a dime a dozen

if you fear results,
take but one or two lovers
study what you selected.

some of you must think i’m horrible, wrong, awful
but am i right?

it is dangerous
it has very little mass appeal
madness will follow slowly
exactly how is this supposed to work?

it grew into a wilderness
into something even bigger.

i found

you should not use love to be worth less than what it is
it’s the calm before the storm
it’s pretty unbelievable

so where do you begin with love?

i was given a vase of red
that holds a flower
a symbol
but of what?

is it a token
is it a payment
is it a chain
is it what I choose
or what the giver chooses for me?

i sense a trap
a snare
ready to be sprung
leaving my heart bleeding again

i must be calm
escape the trap
hide the vase away
along with my heart

Making Concessions

i have to make concessions
but the idea is making me jumpy.

he says,
“it is beyond your wildest dreams.”
well, i’m still having some trouble with that.
but when will we learn?

why do we fall into this trap?
well, you never know.

he says,
“it is so awesome this thing we have”
well, it’s significant to have goals.
we ought to establish a relationship.

you just have to sit down and do this.
there’s a lot at stake

he says,
“that doesn’t play a part. i need more time.”
well, it’s a qualified choice.
my love is a valuable commodity.

i say,
“you may not as of now know the things that i know.
you think you should buy love on impulse.
sorry, but i won’t make that concession.”

who is a gentleman?

what is a gentleman?

it does not mean gentle man.

it is someone who hides behind a mask

a mask of polite nothingness,

a mask of toy soldier chivalry,

a mask that makes a woman hopeful

that he is not like the rest.

hope springs eternal that this is the one,

one worthy of love.

like a ghost from a bygone era

or a lost thought of a dream

he brings hope.

it is a false hope.

it means nothing.

the mask only hides the true intentions

to take your heart

and to leave you without it.

love wilderness

lost in the wilderness love
will it go away if
i leave them alone?

this a little different
from my usual madness

i can’t really give up my
anal-compulsive ways completely.

my artifice requires a lot of everything.
it looks like i will be another fashion victim.
should i really blow the lid off
of the silk myth once and for all.

everyone ought to look into joy for themselves
you need to know the ropes.
here’s how you can start out too.
today, having a faith is not a dream, it’s reality.

what has been said about depressed
you should give it a shot
they can add a lace line
as a guide for you.

i guess my soul works.
that path is a recipe for disaster

i’m saying this in total freedom.
this wilderness has an astonishing ability.

wilderness and womb,
though similar on some aspects,
really do differ
on many things.

our warm influences engage
a lot of our momentary habits.
that is a way
to build interest in the heart.

from my infant dreams my mind is like a maze that drives me mad.

i must find my reason from the lamp of my faith until i wake

punctual as ever i am stirred from my slumbers, not a moment too soon.

i must keep my assignations much to my woe.

i must mourn the loss of my solitude and travels of my soul.

how dreadful it is to meet the day when this is upon my heart.

a stranger looks at me. i feel unapproved but should i feel unacknowledged?

now i must woo them, i must wed them, i must

they wish to win something that is so remote.

i wish a friend but they wish something else

but, then again, friends, how mortal temptations soar!

how dangerous is desire!

love rarely matters
when it is put alongside
the matter at hand.

life is smooth,
life is rough
life’s right in front of you.

this would be a great idea
for desire.
if they do know they can do it

then they are only on fire
for the other involved party
but they are never loved.

i am in favor of love
that was very imaginable for me.
it far surpasses anything else on the market.

i may become even more cynical.
sometimes whisper is combined
but i’ve been rather passionate about it.

make sure that you
leave yourself plenty of time.
it is set to program your mind.

there are those who must
wage war on an embrace.
forget that for the moment.

i have to look cheerful.
it is enjoyable.
but yet dangerous.

there is a system in place
for the tender hearted.
maybe you find that dreadful.

something else is required.
love can give you a distinct advantage.
