once self esteem is achieved a woman will gain a sense of personal validation and experience joy.  the flipside is that a woman with low self esteem does not feel good about herself. this is because she absorbed so much negative energy from bad relationships and culture in general. why does this happen?

the sad fact is that themes like youth, thinness and beauty that permeate our society doom many women to having low self esteem. this starts about age 12 for most women when our appearance becomes paramount. we are required it seems to join the beauty treadmill. we become diet fanatics. we buy cosmetics. in the end we end up not feeling good about ourselves. what can we do to break this cycle and improve our self esteem?

here is an easy way to begin. each day plan to do just one thing that improves your self esteem. it can be something physical, intellectual, emotional or spiritual. it can be a simple task. but just taking the time to do it can make a lot of difference in your state of mind and build your self esteem.

remember little things will add up over time. the little thing build and build until you develop your self esteem. don’t worry, it will come with time. don’t give up because the results will be worth it in the end.
